Sustainable Sand and Stone (SSS) is an established recycling plant that can receive clean fill waste and mechanically filter, sift, and separate the waste into components. This is a basic description of complex machinery that can assess the constituents of waste and adjust energy and structural inputs to sift and measure to the selected output required. Water and energy inputs drive the flow for material through the plant.
Southeys Group were ideally placed to see the opportunities presented by this technology. Over the course of two years, they have imported and built the plant to form the business, Sustainable Sand and Stone.
They use this technology to recover resources from the waste collected from excavation activity, and to offer a recycling solution for hydro excavation waste. To note, this equipment additionally can separate dry loads of managed fill.
The plant has achieved a number of accreditations for civil and roading use, please contact us regarding your requirements to replace virgin quarried material with recycled washed and sized sands and aggregate.
